Coils cost about that much alone... Then you need the 4 ls2 plugs and 4 oem plugs, Heatshrink, extra wire, MSD plug wires, and the metal to make a bracket to hold it all... O and the tools to cut/construct the bracket...

Lol.. goodluck doing everything for under $200 if you want it done right.

Actually coils are the same as those on ebay (ls1 or ls2 can be used - look different)...also can pick those up used.

Wiring is better because while seller on ebay is using exactly the same connectors he provided with longer wires for ease of connectivity ...plus depending on bracket they might sit a bit different, needing for longer wire.

The only thing you dont get is waranty....but you do get satisfaction when you do something your self and save $200
( If i were to make one for my self ... $60 MSD wires, $60 set of coils, $80 for wires...free mounting plate...not paying $480 for brand name - priceless)

right, so when you have issues with your ghetto fabbed ignition kit, where do you turn? your wallet.. one thing i have for sure learned on this car and any car really is that certain things are just better left to the people who have put the time into making it work right and just paying for their efforts... its not a "brand name" youre buying, its everything you COULD custom fab, plus warranty and ease for nearly the same price.

^ There are people who are running custom kits with enough knowledge and know how that arent ghetto fabbed. and are comfortable with fixing it their are troubles. Its a personal preference. Now this kids thread is full of crap this sucks. Why not go mazport ignition solution there is one for sale barely used for $400 i think as a suggestion.

read the OP, he wants a bhr or esmeril ignition. never said anything about he should buy one or the other, just further pointing out why his choice is better than getting **** off ebay

Dude you started with $200 to make the kit yourself now your showing $330 without a bracket to hold it all? The Bhr kit comes with 8.5mm MSD wires not magnecor....Plus It would be dumb for the OP to order all this then still have to design a way to bolt the coils down, when i sell an entire ls2 upgrade kit for $375 shipped..
