hey, all i lost my special tool to remove my oem 18's, i was wondering if someone might have one for sale?

 

it's a security key and there are numerous ones to prevent anyone else with an RX-8 from removing your wheels with their key. You need to go to the dealer, they should have a set and can match it up, then order you a new one. There should also be a security wheel key code that came with the car when new.

 

or you could buy a tap and dye and get it off... i had to do that with like 6 tuner lugs i lost the key for... then just buy some different lugs...

 

You can also go to a tire shop and get it out. They basically bang a hex key about the same size on it and use an impact hammer to get off. I've my lug keys twice now, not on the 8 but on my Eclipse. It cost about 20 bucks I think.
