Got a line on some tan interior side panels, so I figure I'd ask a long shot and see if anyone had a full set of tan (Alcantara) seats for sale. Thought it might be neat in a TiGray RX-8.

Good luck. It should look really good. There was a guy wanting to sell his Shinka seats last year but I talked him out of it.

I remember talking with somebody last year about a shinka seat set, but I think this guy did in fact sell his locally... must have been a different guy. I know this is a long shot.

 

You could always get the seat upholstery from a company that does that.

Then you could swap them out and sell it when that time comes. Less shipping to deal with because UPS does not like pallets.

 

Yea, a custom stitched interior with the factory cloth (or something of my own choice)
is definitely an option, although I always lean towards factory stuff..... if I have the option.... well at least for high wear interior things like this.... (everything else I change out!). Thanks for the tip though, my body and paint guy recommended someone to me not too long ago, and I forgot about it...

i swapped shinka seats into my car, at this point i think doing it custom would have been a better idea, you dont have to deal with rediculous shipping costs and stuff getting damaged, also the seats between the years are slightly different,
