thats the stock one. just go in your trunk and take it out. buy red spray paint. then spray. let dry and screw in tow hook. easy.

Have seen somewhere else on the board that no, they don't fit the 8 (wrong thread pitch / diameter). I'll edit this if I find the post, think it was in the race sub-forum.

no it wont. just trust me, your options are the mazdaspeed towing hook, (and other expensive ones similar to that but impossible to find) or have one custom made. theres no cheap options that actually work, ive checked. I started researching aftermarket miata tow hooks because the pitch and thread size is similar (10x1.5???) something like that, but its way to short and wont stick out enough if i remember right

just paint your stock one if you like the look, i think it looks ridiculous because its so small

It should work for the MS kit since the holes for the tow hooks are in the same location.

but you can't get to the rear because of the diffuser and the front has that metal screen, so i guess you'd have to cut it?

From these comments doesnt sound like you need them for track events or anything you just want them for show,,,,
Tow hooks are not for Show,,,,,
If you track your car you wouldnt be complaining about $140 for something like a tow hook,,,
Take yours outta your trunk bin and paint them like someone said before,,,

that can happen on the street as well ... it happened to me once. I was taking the i94 west ramp form the loop when a truck full of sand crashed in front of me. the sand was everywhere and since we were going up the hill I was stuck. Whenever I touched the gas pedal, my tires were slipping and I was going backwards. lol.

Also if you live in areas like me where it snows -- i get snowed in my parking spot a lot -- i can get a friend to tow me out!
