That is what I have been told also... but this may have been only the single resonated pipe...

Another local just got the dual pipe, but I have yet to hear it live.

you guys are comparing midpipes to stock cat's. Of course its gonna be louder and raspier. Why dont you compare midpipes to midpipes.

OK... I will.
I had the AP midpipe and it was loud, raspy, and annoying.
I swapped that for the MazSport mid-pipe and LOVE it.
Nice deep tone.
I would never go back to the AP midpipe for a daily driver.

alright now compare midpipes to something that people can actually buy, have customer service with , and will fit all cars without issues.

I actually have that planned.
We have a local that is putting on an AP midpipe soon and another who is going to purchase the RB when it comes out.
Then we can compare the three next to each other.
I already planned on making a comparison video like my other video that compares the stock cat to the MazSport midpipe.

yea i realize. RB is still a few months out with theirs because of their resonator manufacturer. Should be the same as mazsport but actually a good product..

but what can people buy right now?

I feel people should wait and see what happens with the Racing Beat, unless you like the loudness.
This is just my opinion coming from someone who ran with the AP as a daily driver.
I only bring up the MazSport because its the only pipe (right now) that has proven to me that you can have a catless midpipe that doesn't produce an annoying sound.
And if RB can replicate that.. great!

true, but compared to a single resonated midpipe which most are used to anyways, the AP DR is just fine... i like it. I dont think half the people would want a stock sounding exhaust system thats half the reason for getting one..

go get your inspection before you put the midpipe on. then you have a year to get the AP before next inspection, or just keep your stock cat and swap it out for inspection. no biggie

once you stop by an auto parts store and clear the old code it wont come back with the stock cat back on.

pairing the AP will be cheaper, now, and a little louder. The RB will be quieter, yes, but is not available for a few months and will cost more for the same power results and function.
