Well I guess I am awesome then. I never got around to really installing my JIC 4 pt. I started to install it and I wasn't feeling it. I wasn't liking the way it set in there and I guess I just really have a soft spot for the engine cover. PM me

Despite the response to my possible strut bar sell, I am going to keep the bar just a little longer. Sorry to tease you guys like that. It is quite possible I will sell it in the future however. Being totally honest, it didn't fit right. When the two parts are tightened down to the body, it makes it where the bar won't attach to both sides. I just haven't had time to email JIC about it. I don't think I am the first to have the problem either. Hopefully it is an easy fix. Really sorry about posting that earlier before I thought it all the way through.

isn't the JIC strut bar made for the jdm rx8 so that some of the usdm adjustments make it that the 4 point wouldnt be able to fit the same way that the jdm mazdaspeed 4 point bar wont fit on our usdm 8's.

I know atleast one other person had trouble installing it. However the other person I have corresponded with, had no trouble. It doesn't seem to be a problem of jdm to us-spec to me, but I have been wrong before. Its not like it has a master cylinder brace or anything. I would imagine the 4 connections (2 firewall and 2 shock) would be the same no matter where the car is from.

If someone wants it really bad, I guess they could PM me an offer. At this point in time I plan on keeping it though. OK someone please get the OP a strut bar. Sorry. You may now resume your regularly scheduled programming.
