WTB Broken Headlights

hey i was just wondering if anyone had some broken headlights.....?? as bad as it sounds but anyone that have them smashed or w.e as long as the projector housing and projector are good i wanted to try something out with some projectors and would love the stock projector but dont want to spend a load of money on them and would love the 8's first out of any of them.

P.s. with HID bulb in it ballast is not needed though but a plus remember CHEAP for just want to see if anyone has them first of all

I can sell you just the projectors if you'd like (I replaced mine with clear ones).

$50 shipped for both.

ehh i needed the housing too and shroud i found a set i just wanted to put them on my fog lights since they been letting water in and ruined my HID bulb on it so i figured i either buy new OEM fogs or retrofit a projector on there

ummmm where....??? i just looked and 400 per headlight aint cheap... lol for that i can get some projectors from the retrofit source website i was thinking like 50 to a hundred lol i found a set on ebay exactly what i wanted for 140 ill go to a junkyard and see if i find any complete sets of projector headlights with housings intact from any car i just thought since the shround would be identical on the fog to the headlight it would look pretty sick

Unless you're making custom foglight housing the shroud from the headlights won't fit unless you cut off the two spokes on the side.

Even then you'd have a hard time fitting it in there as you'd need a lot of extra depth to accommodate the projector, shroud, cutoff shield and bulbs. There isn't much available depth behind the foglight as they sit right in front of the oil coolers. The foglights would end up sitting way out in front of the bumper to fit everything in there.

Ask me how I know

You're better off with something like the Hella MicroDE projector fog lights.

i was thinking the depth thats why i was looking like mad for some and yeah i know about the two side things needed to be cut off i was looking at these first http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HID-K...item5190721dd6
and i assume you've tried then. and i HATE HATE those small miny projector things ugh my friend has a g6 gtp with them i cant stand the look plus i think it would be awkward and i want HID still and ive read in other forums that H3 HID blow like crazy and they have gone through way too many bulbs so if i dont find a small projector it seems stock they will stay..... sadness

Let's just say I spent a lot of time looking at projector fogs last year. Most of what I found didn't have enough depth clearance. I'm not saying it's impossible just be prepared to deal with it.

As for me, I ended up ripping out the fog lights altogether and doing clear projectors in the headlights. the light output is high enough that fogs won't really help, so I just added mesh to the oil coolers and I find it looks a lot better.

And I saved money for other mods.

Edit: if you want to see nice results lookup Rotary Rasp's HID fogs made with the Hella MicroDE. Best example I've ever seen.
