i was wondering if anyone had any engine parts or transmission parts laying around thats either broken or not in use, im taking a class called way things work and we're suppose to bring in a product that has more than 20 components and i would have to take it apart and learn how it works.

i thought it would be cool to bring in something from a rx8 so i could complete the assignment and also better understand my car.

just seeing if anyone can help me out nothing more then $20..
doesnt have to be new or anything just anything that can be taken apart

i have class next week so probably local im in SOCAL in the pasadena area

The weight may be a challenge for complete engine or trans, some things that may have over 20 parts on the rx8 (lighter weight)

stock intake system including vfad

stock radio

driver seat

stock steering wheel with airbag

Electronic assisted steering system

gotta be more using more than 20 components, bump for a goood guy!

 

i would actually say instrument cluster would be a good one. since its digital, 10k rpm, and fly by wire controlled :P

i have a few if you wanna buy one but dont have any broken ones.

i would send you a rotor but there arent 20 components on it really.. 6 side seals and springs, 6 apex seals and springs, 6 corner seals and springs, 4 oil rings and springs. you could take it apart in about 5 minutes and would be kinda boring lol
