Yeah, I would find that highly suspect. The original OEM price for the R3 wheels was $2,400 EACH (yeah, $9,600 for the set of 4, plus tax). The price has been dropping over the year, down to the $1,200 each stated above. $250 is a knock off or stolen. Period.

Eventually it will get lower, but not quickly, and I doubt it will ever drop under $800 a wheel.

Oh I asked to see if they were really the R3 rims. They said they're out of stock. It should at least say "out of stock" ..

When I looked up the price I could not believe they were $1236 each from Mazda. I've been contacted by a few members who are interested in buying mine. I've gotten offers ranging from $2000 shipped for rims only up to $4000 shipped for rims & tires.

if you are still interested on the wheels, check ebay now. I found an auction for the wheels but they are sold individually and the set might not be complete.

FYI - TeamRX8 posted that the wheels/tires are 47lbs total...

tires are 26lbs, making the rims 21lbs apiece, which would be 1lb more than the te37s in that size

Honestly, I wouldn't mind selling my R3 wheels but am going to wait till I figure out a replacement. I am kinda kicking my self for getting the extra wheel/tire warranty. It sounded like a no brainer at the time....
