I'm from the miata.net forum. I'm yet another pesky mx-5'er wanting to get my hands on a set of oem rx-8 'red dot' sways. I'd like to buy both front and rear as a set, but if you only have the front, that's ok I guess.

Help me out folks, a set of sways would make a really nice birthday present.

which ones are the 'red dot' bars? I've been considering upgrading, and have both stock bars still on my '05 Sport.

 

Sport cars have sport susp. package. Sports have yellow spray paint on the right side and are 27mm in the front & 16mm rear.

how much do they sell for?

 

Front 27mm sport / yellow spot of paint is $100.
Rear 16mm sport / yellow spot of paint is $68.
Front 25mm base / red spot of paint is $101.
The spot of paint will be on the right hand side of the sway bar. These prices are from my local Mazda dealer. Need to be ordered, will take 3 days.
Oh, Plus tax. I have part #'s if anyone wants to check.
I bought a set of Hotchkis 27mm front & 21mm rear and posting them up for sale. Too stiff for my old bones.

In that case, I may have red dots. I'll check this afternoon - I have to do tech for this weekend's autoX anyway.

If I do, I am interested in getting the racing beat set. Selling the stock bars would certainly speed things up. Make me an offer through PM and let me know where you are so I can figure out shipping.

 

Mike confirmed he has the yellow dot sways, not the red dot sways I'm seeking.
