Kills me that you're here in Maryland, but need leather powered seats...I have like-new black cloths in my 09 sport, and would love to get my hands on the R3 seats :[. It's a shame to hear you have to get rid of this S2, especially with it replacing your last....you have excellent taste in how to mod an 8.

 

Also...I'm sure this is a long shot, but if you'd consider trading for the cash and sport cloths, definitely let me know. This is something I've wanted to do with my S2 for quite some time now. If not, no hard feelings, and GLWS. I genuinely wish I could help you out with any of the other items on the list, but they're out of my budget at the moment, or it's an item I already have the equivalent of.

FYI, I don't believe S1 electric seats will function properly in the S2 due to different electrical connectors. I could be wrong, but I was reading something about that when Mazmart was selling some electric black leather S1 seats. I recall something about the heaters working, but no movement from the motors.

Glad to hear you'll be getting something that only goes up from the 8, that's good news! I was worried to hear what you said because I thought it meant a necessity for economical.

Why are you switching the Recaros for the GT seats again ?

Does the dent in the exhaust affect the sound at all? How bad is it? How much/if at all modification does a s2 exhaust need to fit an S1?

I'm in northern va btw so I'm pretty much local.

The dents are cosmetic and does not affect the sound of the exhaust. The mods you need to make to fit a S1 is using different hangers.

The price of the RX8 stock is $17K. That's what my dealer has quoted me on sale/trade so if you are interested you have til next weekend to make it happen.

I have too many cars and just want to free up some cash to buy something more grown up in the next couple of months... Maybe a BMW 750i M-Sport twin turbo.
