TurboXS Racepipe - Catless Midpipe

Category: Engine - Exhaust
Price: $120
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): Series I
Location (US State/Canada/Int): CA
Item Condition: Used

SOLD

I purchased the TurboXS catback exhaust system a few years ago. The catless race pipe was installed for approximately 2,000 miles before I decided it was not practice for a daily driver. The race pipe has been kept in a box and stored in my garage since then.

The TurboXS racepipe is located in Indio, CA

TurboXS RX8 Cat-Back is a high performance 304 Stainless steel solution providing increased flow without the annoying drone associated with performance exhaust systems. This is due to the Tuned chambers and vehicle specific muffler materials. Exhaust gases exit through dual 4.0 inch tips to unleash the beast within on your RX-8.

*note: possibly a newer model that what I'm selling.

It does increase the exhaust noise of car but it's not too loud, I really liked the exhaust sound actually. The reason I took it off was because of the smell. Idling with the windows down on the car gave me a headache. I only have the race pipe portion of the exhaust.

Initially I liked the smell but then it became overbearing. Let me know if you're still interested or if anything changes.

Bump for a good buy, bought the same one and yes I recommend not letting it sit in the garage when you start it or it will smell, but it's worth it. Sounds great, not to raspy, and great flames!

FYI, this will only work with a turbo xs catback, wont be a dirct bolt on to any other exhaust kit or OEM unless you modify it by drilling additional holes into the flang.
