Tein Basics

I have a set of tein basics for sale. I bought them in the beginning of summer and just bought a house so I would like some extra cash to go towards some furniture. The coilovers have less than 1000 miles on them. they are 100 percent functional and still look like brand new because they practically are!!!! They come in the factory box and even come with a tein sticker just like new!!! I will sell them for 600 if anyone is interested. I accept paypal and will give my personal cellphone number to anyone who has any questions or would like to speak with me thanks!!

pardon my ignorance...but are they adjustable? and how much drop do they yield? i have their S-tech springs and would want to go just a little lower.

Hight is fully adjustable, you can drop the car down to the tires if you want.

+1 for a good bang for your buck.

yes you are correct they are ride height adjustable. you can go anywhere from a touch higher than stock to right down to the ground.

I set mine on full low just to see where the car would sit when I first installed them... the car sits on the tires.

I have about a 3/4" gap in the front and 1" in the rear, and Ive got plenty of room left to drop, my body kit wouldnt appreciate it though.

they won't go down that low safely. when up on the racks, you want the springs to touch the car lest they flop around. this is a pic of mine with them as low as they go without flopping around.

it's pretty low. i tried to make them lower, but just one more turn and the spings don't flush.

I paid 712 for the coilovers after a considerable amount of research trrying to find the lowest price. I would like a link to these coilovers shipped for 650 if you can find it. If 600 is too much please make me an offer I will accept reasonable offers. These coilovers have no trackdays or driving which would cause excessive wear. My car only has 3300 miles on it and I just bought the coilovers. I am willing to bet the set has much less than 1000 miles on them probably closer to 800 since I never drive in the rain or poor weather.

I think so

body roll was reduced to zero when I had these things on. And brake dive was also nonexistant. Even though you cannot adjust dampening these shocks and springs are matched and therefore make a great performance bang for the bucks

yep, someone should buy these. anyone looking for a cheap solution to body roll should be all over these. i wish i had seen this before i bought mine. would have saved me 150 bucks.

Personally, the main reason I want coilovers is so I can install them myself. Unless I'm way off base, I can't really install them myself if they don't have top mounts, unless I have a spring compressor. Right?

if you're half way mechanical, you should be able to do it. some dudes here in florida offered to put mine on. they said it was pretty easy. took my mechanic all of an hour.
