ON Syncro-Saver

SOLD
I purchased this product last month and was install for two weeks, so now it's up for sale
$80.00 o.b.o ++ shipping.
Locals get first dibs. I bought this on a group buy normally $110. PM if interested. Reason for sale: have a ongoing issue with 2nd gear and thought this may help, also removed my AFE SS and went back to stock till I can resolve the problem.

its very likely that you could just be loosing 2nd gear all together.

Yah! I've been bitching to Mazda since the car was new and it just keeps getting worse on downshifts. So it's on the record and they always said there's nothing wrong.
Hopefully now I can get this resolved. Bent fork or bad syncro.

Isn't putting this on a car with a known bad synchro and expecting it to restore the synchro to good, about like spending all of your money and then opening a savings account then expecting that same money to show up in the account? lol...

Yeah, yeah, still don't know if it's bad synchro or what but it SOLD now. And it did not hurt to try.
Now I'm asking for it!

I am just having a little fun with you guys.

The Synchro Saver is actually quite helpful in preventing one from shifting too aggressively into third gear, which can cause major problems in the transmission.

I'm keeping the AFE SS for now, but I'm looking into the Mazdaspeed SS. The strange thing is with the stock shifter in for the last few days the symptoms have almost disappeared or well not as noticeable. It's going in for service tomorrow, and probably my stealership will tell me nothing is wrong again. If that happens I'll try a good tranny place next. I've driven a MT off & on for 35 years and I think by now I'd know when something not right. I see a new thread in my future!

Have you read up on the broken/weakened clutch pedal issue?

Well if you change your mind about the AFE let me know. It will be money towards your Mazdaspeed SS.

Charles, I see you in a couple of weeks
