It happened.

Which HJS cat is included with the midpipe? And, can you take better pics?

Thanks!

I bought this cat from 6MTGirl back in February, put probably 6K mi on it since. Came with a spare O2 sensor (not pictured) I will include. Below is a description from her sales post.

Any particular views you would like to see?

"Custom BHR Resonated midpipe with HJS Motorsport 100 CPI high flow cat. SCCA STX legal. I had this midpipe built specially for reliability, longevity and maximum power gains for auto-x. It is possibly the nicest catted midpipe one could find for an RX-8.

This is a genuine BHR midpipe that I ordered new from BHR. I had the HJS cat welded in to replace the Davesport cat the BHR midpipe originally came with. BHR does not recommend the cat that comes with their midpipe for track/auto-x and sure enough, mine ended up melting in a few auto-x events, so it was definitely not suited for that kind of use. I purchased the HJS cat and had it tig-welded to take care of that issue. While HJS products are prohibitively expensive, they can withstand the heat of the Renesis if you must run a catted setup. The HJS has been on for 14K miles and is in great shape. The BHR resonator has also been perfect. Very quiet and no issues with the glass packing like other cheaper resonators.

The midpipe has OEM-like fitment, as expected from BHR. Weighs in at a mere 11lbs, or just about half of the stock midpipe weight. "

the bhr will never have any issues with glass packing, because it is not packed with anything at all, has a pretty ingenious straight pipe wrapped with a spiral sleeve.

Yes, that is the part number. I'll try to get an exact quote tomorrow, but I would expect about $50 based on last time I shipped a swaybar to the west coast.
