Several items for sale:
The spring drops are what I experience on my install. Racing Beat Springs, gives .5" drop $200 shipped (used for about 12k miles) I love this set because it gave a tighter feel and great look without dropping too much Tokiko Springs, gives 1.5" drop. $200 shipped Gives a nice aggressive look without messing with the geometry of the front end (alignment required). It was too much of a drop for me so I only put about 1k miles on it. Tokiko 'D Spec' Ajustable front shocks, with key (sold the rears) with about 13k miles on them. $220 shipped (make reasonable offer) COBB AccessPort Tuner, in original box (SOLD) I also have 2005 RX8 rims with snow tires (couple of sessons left on tires). (blizzaks LM-22) $600 (local pickup) Hankook's Ventus R-S3 on rims, autox'd once (4 runs, look at thread, flames still show) $850 rims are 18x8 48 offset (local pickup) Idemitsu Premix 6qts (plus 3 quarters of a 7th qt) $30 local pickup |
Did you get the advertised drop with the RB springs + D Specs? Mine went considerably lower than advertised with that combo. GLWS.
Please tell me you didn't pull this stuff off the Shinka...
I think you'd get this stuff sold quicker if it was in the rx8 parts for sale section, not rx8's for sale
Thanks for moving this
Interested in the Cobb AP is is unmarried, does it have the MM tunes and photos please
Cobb AP SOLD
I didn't realize the question.
It only dropped about .5 inches even with the D Specs. That's why I liked them so much.

with the tokiko springs, will they work with the stock struts and shocks, and for how long? and how many miles are on them?
As I posted they have about 1k miles on them.
I tried many setups which included the springs with the stock shocks. They were fine but I can't say how long they would be fine. The beauty is you can keep it at the soft setting, which makes it feel like stock and then tighten them when you need it. |
For those that have been asking:
Yes, the Idemitsu premix qts are still available |
Going once,
possibly interested in both sets of rims/tires and maybe even the springs. Let me talk to the wife! Today she told me she wanted Black rims for her Speed3 so I have searched the forums looking at stuff. I could use the snows for my RX8 this winter...

i would jump on these springs but idk how long i can run with stock struts and shocks, hense why i havent lowered my car.
I wouldn't run on stocks, if they were new maybe with the racing beat but you should buy better shocks (we don't have struts).
Stephen, let me know either way. Thanks |
Would you be willing to ship the Idemitsu premix?
not sure if there is some special process since it is flamable. Does anyone here know?

Stephen,
I see you are in NH, you can save a bunch of money if you drive down. You may have scene that I wrecked my RX8 racecar a few weeks back. Cost for repairs is higher than planned and we are watching the wallet at this point. I was kinda excited and suprised that she said we should focus on the racecar first... wasn't expecting that! Either way I will need winters for my street 8 at some point and she needs/wants new rims and tires for her speed3. I am subscribed to this thread and when we are sure we have the funds I will contact you agian. I think this would be easy as your local... Stephen FREE BUMP for jumping the gun and thinking she wanted ASAP... |

what size are the tires? ran over a nail and it now maybe a sooner option than later...
