I thought 2008 was a series 2 and 2009 and up is a series 3 ?

Just as an FYI, a brand new, 0-mile S2 gearbox from MazdaSpeed Motorsports Development is around $2k. I paid ~$2100 for mine and that included freight to Illinois as well as parts to make it fit my S1.
