{WTB} Rx8 Accessport
Rx8 Accessport
Well, now that mazdamaniac isn't offering them anymore, figures, I'm in the market for one.
looking to buy an unmarried accessport for my rx8 with accessories, cash in hand, serious buyer.

Unless you get it cheap and with the married Access Tuner Race software .... There are better solutions now.
IMO the Cobb AP is worthless without the matching ATR software.
Just don't pay too much and not have it do what you expect.

I've looked briefly into Mazda edit, but I have zero idea if it can do that, or how to tune it myself. Or if it can be tuned remotely like Mazda maniacs service, or what I'd even need to buy. So I figured the Cobb would be easiest to go with.
If you just want to monitor vitals there are plenty of great bluetooth solutions that will plug into the ODBII slot and link to your phone/tablet.
If you want to do tuning:
- MazdaEdit
- Versatuner
- Adaptronics
- Haltech
Just off the top of my head.
I'm mainly looking for one so I can get Mazda maniacs tuning service. I need a tune and the downstream sensor shut off.

Well that makes sense then. Good luck with purchase.
It's really not that hard to get the AT software nowadays. Their course took me maybe 45 minutes, and surprisingly, I actually learned something. Just factor the cost into the AP you're buying. My only real complaint about the whole process is that the videos are geared towards Mazda 3's and 6's.
