Not interested... Just wanted to contribute by saying while the AP is known for being a little obnoxious, the Vibrant ultraquiet resonator is a nice addition to the kit and should tame it down in a very nice way. I dont know the OP, just giving an option for anyone who might be on the fence.

You sure thats an agency power muffler? Looks more like the TurboXS, but i guess things could have changed over the years.

As far as I know this is the agency power with the inline mufflers



And this is the TurboXS with the crossflow mufflers

 

 

that's just what I was told when I bought it but let me go double check and look I'll try to get some better pictures

 

 

both the turbo xs and the ap should have their name on the outside of eacr exhaust tip. my ap is blue on the tips like pictured in this thread but think the turbo xs is just polished/chrome.

also to note unless it changed over the years i believe the xs tips are much thicker than the ap. one of the mounting flanges is also different on the xs, i think its the midpipe section

This looks like the TurboXS catback upon further inspection, however these dont have the TurboXS brand name on the muffler bodies which I find interesting. Its possible that some early versions possibly didnt have that? I'm not completely sure.I have this exact setup pretty much on my car, I dont have a good/helpful sound clip I can share because my exhaust gets further muffled by my turbo (and I'm also not sure if having my vibrant ultraquiet resonator further back on the midpipe would change the resonance or tone further.

 

I think it may be the case because my turboXS doesnt have any logos or anything on it as far as I have seen.

My favorite NA Rx8 setup was the racingbeat dual resonated midpipe and the TurboXS muffler. It was probably just at the cusp where it was loud without drone. However when I put the greddy turbo on it, there is basically no noise because of the stupidly restrictive turbo.

I did just buy a new TurboXS for my REW build so I will know soon enough how their latest ones were made when I open the box. Ill get to test my REW with an 8474 RB Dual RES midpipe with the TurboXS muffler.

For most sales through this forum youll need to be patient, this site is unfortunately mostly dead compared to the activity it saw 10-15 years ago and most people here are either broke, already have their cars built, or some combination of the two.
