RX-8 Injectors in Excellent Condition

Category: Engine - Intake/Fuel
Price: $0
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): Series I, Series II
Location (US State/Canada/Int): TX
Item Condition: Used

I am in the process of collecting parts to turbocharge my Miata, and it just so happens that RX-8 injectors fit and flow enough fuel at the correct pressure to get me to 250BHP, which is my goal.

So, if anyone has a set of excellent condition RX-8 injectors available, please PM the details.

I have a **** ton. how many you need? All are good as far as I know but if you pay for testing I can have them cleaned and tested locally.

I need 4, but if I need more than 4 to end up with a closely matched set, so be it. Tell me more about this SA place that cleans and tests...

Soooo...

After a little more research, I discovered I can buy reman injectors from Rock Auto for ~$160 shipped for a set of 4. That means any injectors I buy used need to be nearly free to justify having them cleaned and tested ($100).

Anyone have a set of yellows they want to give me? I'll obviously pay shipping and a little extra for your time.

It should be obvious, but calculate the number of times an injector needs to fire on a rotary engine at 8000+ rpm and also consider the precision it needs

Seen hundreds of RX8 dynos that go all scattered and weird at high rpm, everybody always thinks its ignition or any other explanation under the sun, but never injectors because some gross AFR reading makes them think all is well. On NA its mostly a power thing, but the turbo guys who keep blowing up never consider it either. A known Renesis expert builder warned me about used injectors because he routinely rejected new OE injectors that didn't meet his testing standards. Supposedly cleaned & tested or not, you have no idea how old, used, or anything else buying them like that, yet you collect and compare other data like a mad scientist ...

My next engine has Injector Dynamics in all positions and EGT for each rotor ...
