Hey everyone! Wow, it has been forever since I've been on here. I upgraded to a Corvette C6 ages ago.

I was cleaning out the office closet, and came across the collectors RX-8 book. I purchased mine, however I know for a time people were getting with the car as a gift from Mazda.

The book is titled:

Plus Complete Histories of Mazda Rotary Engine Development
and Rotary Racing Around the World



The book is in near mint condition, with minor wear on the edges of the dust cover. I found listings on Amazon for $35 - $220 depending on condtion.



I was thinking $75 shipped to the lower 48. However, I will entertain reasonable offers.

This is a great book for the RX-8 or Rotary enthusist! Lots of really cool info and great pictures!

 

Seeing as you can get them used at $30 on amazon shipping included I wouldn't think $75 is a reasonable price. Maybe $35 shipped or so?

 

I think you should re-read what I posted. I found them from $35 to $220 depending on condition.

I think we both agree $220 is insane... and, $35 will not get you a brand new looking book such as this one. I'd be willing to go $60 shipped, nothing less.

I'd rather it go to a rotary enthusiest, than collect dust on my shelf of car books.

money needed for other parts, but looks like an awesome book to have!

You really should describe it better. Many of the newer members have no idea how neat this book is!

 

Man I looked everywhere for this book before winning it at a mazda car show. Awesome book, great read for anyone who wants the 8's background.

 

these yamaguchi books are super awesome; i have all of them. and i'm such a dork i bought 2 rx-8 ones, one to put away and one to read...

 

seriously, if funds were not planned for other parts.. Too bad price is firm though, if it was around 30 I would be all over this lol. Anyways free bump for a cool collectors item.

 

Still have it! Someone out there needs this book! It's been just sitting on the shelf ever since I bought my Vette.

It really is a great collectors book, with TONS of technical drawings, photos, concept drawings, and TONS of history on the rotary powerplants and the car itself.
