quick question, why wouldn't the cat pass ca smog? have you tried already?

 

The cat is prolly isn't good anymore which is why it won't pass.

 

I think that's also why he's selling for so cheap.

 

I live in CA. The smog test is pretty strict. Not sure if any aftermarket hi-flow cat will pass CA smog. I hate to sell it as it sounds so good with my RacingBeat exhaust. It made my 8 sound like a real sport car. The hi-flow cat don't have much cat to begin with. The RP supercat's cat is 1/5 of the stock cat. It filters the smell and some smog, but it sure does provides hi-flow! I would highly recommends RP supercat if I live in other states.

 

If the cat is still fine I think it'd be able to pass a smog check just fine. GLWS! Too bad ur not in socal
