My right rear tail light leaks and possible remedies haven't worked. Anybody got one for sale? OEM desired. 2004 RX8. I believe that 2005 and 2006 tail lights are the same part.

 

i have a right rear tail light for sale. its oem. it has some very minor scratches on it but does not leak. im located in florida. im not sure how much it would cost to ship it to you

yea man the gaskets go bad apparently

 

Yep, both of mine went bad. I got one to stop leaking using a silicone caulk, but the other never would work. I have since bought a new tail light and gasket, just put it on yesterday. The new gasket is at least twice as thick, and has more "give" to it.

 

I've read alot of people having issues with condensation in their tail lights over the years. I have never had this issue. Oh wait I don't drive my car in the rain and it is kept under a car cover. lol.
