Hi, there,
My 8 is 04 manual. I got a torn boot, close to wheel side, on rear driver's side driveshaft/axle. The grease were thrown everywhere. So, I would like to know if anyone happen to have a good one for sale. Please let me know what you would like for it.
BTW, can I replace the boot with cone boot kit rather than replace the whole assembly?

im not sure about replacing the boot. im sure you could but you may have messed up the joint if it was ran w/o grease.

ill be selling a bunch of parts soon cause a deer totalled my 8.

 

That is true. So sad to hear the accident happened to your 8 but please let me know when you part out your 8 and what you would like for it.

 

thanks. if you need it asap you might want to look around for one because i need to wait for my insurance to cut my check before i start tearing it apart. if it can wait (if you have a 2nd car and dont need your 8 right now) ill try to get to it asap

 

Umm that's not called a driveshaft.

You mean an axle.
