Racing Beat Gauge Pod with Prosport Premium Gauges
5 Attachment(s)
SOLD
RB gauge pod didn't photo well, but is in excellent condition - no scratches mars etc. Comes with Prosport 52mm premium series peak/alarm gauges for fuel pressure, oil temp, and coolant temp with white/amber lighting options. The amber lighting matched my 2005 OE gauge color well. Includes the sensors, most wiring, and most sensor adapters. Exceptions are: 1. The oil temp sensor harness will need to be purchased from Prosport because the gauge connector popped off the wire end when I tried to pull it through the firewall grommet. Costs $12 + shipping from prosport.com Prosport Gauges premium series water and oil temperature gauge wire harness 2. You will need a fuel line adaptor for the fuel pressure sensor, Aeromotive sells a plug & play adapter that plugs into the RX8 fuel line quick disconnect connector in the engine bay next to the brake booster canister Aeromotive*|*15120 - 5/16'' Quick Connect with AN-06 Access Port This can be bought at Jegs, Summit, etc. and BHR used to sell it too. Costs approx. $60. You'll also need an AN-06 plug to seal off that port in the adapter as the fuel pressure sensor screws into the 1/8" NPT port for about $5 Earl's Performance Plugs 581406ERL - SummitRacing.com Couple of other things I didn't ever notice until taking it out last night. The trim ring around the fuel pressure gauge is slightly darker gray/smoked tint than the trim rings on the oil & coolant temp gauges. The oil temp gauge has a small dent in the lower trim ring. Since it's at the bottom you can't really notice it when installed. Again, I never really noticed either one, just trying to give you full disclosure. Originally had an RB adapter, but seemed to have lost or misplaced it following a relocation. So I bought this one instead. I had to cut the hose end to get it off, otherwise I'd give you the hose too. It might still be able to reach after you cut that piece off if you want me to send it. Otherwise I was going to remove and trash it. $320 shipped in the US48 https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.p...1&d=1362975925 https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.p...1&d=1362975926 https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.p...1&d=1362975926 https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.p...1&d=1362975926 https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.p...1&d=1362975926 |
willing to part with just the racing beat gauge pod?
320 is a good price for all 3 GLWS. |
no, this is mostly a package deal only, but thanks for asking just the same
. |
Sure, now you want to sell this after I already bought all this stuff, and paid more than what your asking I might add. lol. Damn good price, if I didn't do this already I would certainly buy it. Although I went with banjo bolts for the oil sender data
|
suppose I should add that my only reason for removing and offering this up for sale is because it is being replaced with a digital race dash display that pulls both OE/CAN data from the OBD2 sensors as well as external sensors with both engine and vehicle performance data logging capability, GPS lapping, etc.
