{WTB} Progress rear sway bar and endlinks.
Progress rear sway bar and endlinks.
i need a rear sway bar. my front is nice and stiff with my progress sway and ap endlinks, but my rear feels a bit squiggly. i just put on fresh tires so that helps treamendously. but i still want to stiffen up the rear

Just a tip but, if your rear end is squiggly do you mean loose or losing grip? Adding a stiffer rear bar is going to make it worst if this is what you have.
For simplification, here's a quote from wiki which is essentially correct:
In short, with a heavier bar up front you should be understeering aka front end pushing. If not, then something else on your set up is causing your rears to lose traction. Adding a stiffer bar in the rear is going to make the slip worst in the rear if it's already leaning towards oversteering. You can add it, but you'll may have to pick the farthest hole from the pivot axis of the sway bar for the rear and the closest for the front to fix your issue. Might want to check into your toe in/out setup and camber.
For simplification, here's a quote from wiki which is essentially correct:
Increasing the proportion of roll stiffness at the front will increase the proportion of the total load transfer that the front axle reacts and decrease the proportion that the rear axle reacts. This will cause the outer front wheel to run at a comparatively higher slip angle, and the outer rear wheel to run at a comparatively lower slip angle, which is an understeer effect. Increasing the proportion of roll stiffness at the rear axle will have the opposite effect and decrease understeer.

Also aren't the AP end links non-adjustable in the rear? Are you lowered? If you're lowered a lot chances are you also have those end links in the rear pre-loaded.

Ah ok, that makes more sense. I have the Progress bars on with the softest setting on both and it still pushes at very tight corners only when exerting the limits of grip it. I plan on switching to the stiffest settings for the rears.
