ID Parting out turbo kit, coilovers, and more

As I've been getting more and more into AutoX, my turbo 8 is not the right car for me. I know it's competitive in STX and CS, but I can't lose nearly 100hp to the wheels, and still draw the same enjoyment from it knowing what I had, and what I've lost. I have decided to make a move, part out then sell the 8, and get a Miata for AutoX and an FD for fun / cruises etc. My loss is your gain - several unused performance parts, and many more low mileage performance parts!

I will ship, at buyer's expense (will only charge exact shipping costs to you though). Will be shipped from 83704, and you can choose the shipping method you would prefer. Buyer/seller to split paypal fees (about 4%, so will add 2% surcharge to final price). The car is in the process of being torn apart / put back together, so some items may not be available right this instant. If you want to buy something though, I will make an extra effort to get it ready asap to mail out. I accept Paypal only for shipping sales, will accept cash in person.

"DIBS" doesn't mean much to me. PM's and paypal payments is worth more.

I am open to trades on any of this for a First Gen Miata (don't care the shape of the body, just mechanical parts. For running in ST classes at autox) or for an FD. FD would take some financing concerns on my end, and really all I've got to trade for an FD would be the RX-8 itself.

Pictures of everything (and other shots of the car) are available here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/3125164...7622773188910/

That said, here's the parts available!

Mazsport "Type 3" turbo kit as pictured and described here; for the most part, with some custom exceptions to the type 3 kit - https://www.rx8club.com/mazsport-104/turbo-kit-type-3-a-102384/. This is a top mount kit, but it includes a Greddy Exhaust Manifold, custom turbo, and some modified downpipes / etc to make it fit those. Kit that I'm selling includes modified intake manifold, injectors, exhaust manifold, all neccesary relocation kits (Mazsport "trio" water, washer fluid, oil catchcan), battery relocation tray. Also includes Mazsport Inteceptor-X, though there's not much support for that any longer so I would recommend switching tuning platforms. Does not include fuel pump. $3200 for all of it.

COBB AccessPort. Used once, had to modify ECU setup because of Interceptor-X to get it to work right and I didn't have the know-how at the time, so I uninstalled. Basically brand new in box. $400, buyer will need to purchase tuning. - SOLD

BHR Ignition Coil. ~1,000 miles. $350 - SOLD

JIC Magic Coilovers - one of the best sets for competition, up there with Ohlin's. I love these things. Only 1,000 miles. Corner balanced for my car; will ship to you with current height settings. 560lbs front / 390 lbs rear (10k/7k). Matches the description here: http://www.good-win-racing.com/Mazda...20R-1102H.html - but the picture on the site is a generic JIC coilover set, not the ones designed for the RX-8. $1,700.

Fronts -
Rears -

Koyo Radiator - unused. $350

RacingBeat CAI + Ram Air Duct - unused. $400

Mazmart Water Pump. ~10k miles. $150 - SOLD

ACT Prolite Flywheel + counterweight - ~3k miles. $200 - SOLD

Extra stock parts:

OEM Exhaust Manifold - $50 SOLD
OEM alternator - $50

Will eventually be selling the car, but that won't be ready for about a month. GT Package, brilliant black, deeply tinted (but legal in ID) windows, red/black interior, no nav, yadda yadda - you guys know what the GT package comes with. Manual transmission. Will come with high flow Cat & RacingBeat Exhaust installed (3" pipe all the way back), and aftermarket pulleys (not sure of exact make... SR? Were on car when I purchased it). Clear corners. Razo Shift ****. JDM transmission (slight, slight difference in 3rd gear, mostly just cool to say it's JDM, yo). Just under 52k miles. 32k miles on engine. 10k miles on tranny. Will be looking for $12k for the car. Let me know if there's any interest in purchasing the car. I AM NOT PARTING OUT ITEMS I HAVE LISTED THAT WILL REMAIN ON THE CAR

This car has been my baby and my nightmare, all at once, so it's very hard to be doing this... but I believe the time has come to move on. I'm staying with both Mazdas and rotaries though, so never fear! I'll still be spinning doritos. Zoom-zoom for life.

There's a motor that controls the airflow in the intake manifold in a stock setup. Increases velocity of air at low RPM for increased torque, increases mass of air at high RPM for increased HP. In a turbo setup, that's bad. That motor has been disabled on my intake manifold and welded open so it's set to the "High mass of air" setting.

I'm only selling what's listed as having a price. I don't have amber corners, so the clears are going with the car - sorry.

I am confused it says you have a type 3 turbo kit but I see a Greddy manifold?

Was this a custom modified kit because I am also seeing a different turbo option as well.

It may have been. I bought the car with the kit on there; my understanding from the previous owner was it was a kit straight from Mazsport but it doesn't sound like that's true.

Not to say it isnt made by Mazsport I am sure the original customer wanted the type 3 but had his own greddy kit already and wanted to make some upgrades so I wouldn't be surprised if this was a custom modification made for that customer.

Yeah it looks a bit different the style of the downpipe, intercooler size and such is different. None the less looks like a great kit for a great price. I just wouldn't advertise it as everything seen in the picture as a Type 3 kit. Also is it going to come with the fuel pump, motor mounts as well?

It would help greatly if you could lay everything out so when I talk to my customer I can tell him exactly what he is and isnt getting.

Thanks

What you're saying makes sense... I didn't mean to advertise falsely; I'll go back and clear up my original post.

No fuel pump; yes to motor mounts. I will lay it all out tonight and get an "all in one" picture tonight, along with the radiator and CAI (still need to get pictures of those... they're in my living room, not my garage so I forgot to get shots of them when I went click happy with my roommates camera.)

No worries I don't think you were trying to mislead anyone, there was enough mis information and uncertainty in those kits as it is.

Let me know if you need any help sorting anything out I am happy to help.
