DBA 5000 series 2-piece front rotors (they are much better to see in person than the pix represent). I bought from Tire Rack on 11-8-08 (have receipt) and put them in service April 2009. I don't think Tire Rack still sells these any longer, but jcsspeed does at $799 per pair. These have 5 track day
s, plus some road use. They have been bedded in with Carbotech XP10 for the track and I used the XP8 on the street during this summer. SOLD

Slotted and drilled rear 1-piece rotors. Put in service this April and bedded with Carbotech XP8. SOLD

Barely used rotors...the least expensive 2-piece lightweight rotors you will find. The RX8 is gone and these need to go as well.

I'll throw in some Amsoil premix I have for free to sweeten the deal.

Rotor prices lowered again - bargain time!!! Does no one want fairly new 2-piece rotors? Are they overpriced for this time of year? Last stop before one try on eBay then I'll hold off until spring when track season starts.

I don't think the rotors provide a different feel (other than slotted vs. plain). The 2-piece rotors are a few poundls lighter than stock, so they have less rotational unsprung weight which should theoretically provide better acceleration and suspension response. In addition to the weights savings, they dissapate heat much better than 1 piece rotors. Also, the DBA 5000 series uses a much harder or better metal mix than stock rotors, making them last longer, more resitant to warping, etc.

Front 2-piece rotor weight is 15.8 lbs (just weighed on home digital scale)
Rear 1-piece rotor weight is 12.0 lbs

I don't have a measuring device that will measure rotors accurately. However there is no "lip" at the edge of the rotors which indicates that the rotor thickness is near new. I only used them for 5 DE days and about 4-5k street miles this summer.

Tis the season for the best rotor deal - $449 shipped for all 4 rotors!!! That's two front 2-piece rotors and two rear 1-piece rotors. All have only been used about 4k street miles and 5 track days.
