TX OEM Nav Hood & Other Electronic Parts

Category: Audio/Video/Electronics
Price: $0

Item Condition: Used

Over the past year, I have collected a number of parts trying to build my custom gauge setup. Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to do what I want and the parts are just sitting here at my house not being used. Not sure when I'll get around to doing what I actually want, so I'm just going to sell these to people who will actually use them. All prices include shipping.

  • OEM Nav Hood - SOLD
  • Racing Beat Oil Temp/Pressure Sensor Adapter - $50 - Again, bought this brand new and it's never been in the car. I still have the o-ring that goes with it. (LINK)
  • PLX DM-100 OBDII Universal 2 1/16" Gauge - $300 - This is a really cool gauge that connects to the OBDII port on the car and lets you read all the different sensors on it. This has never been installed in the car, only hooked up once to see how it worked. (LINK)
  • PLX SM-FluidTemp Sensor Module - $70 - Because the ECU on the RX8 does not read oil temperature, you need to add an adapter to read it. This works with the PLX gauge to bring in the oil temperature. You will need to buy an adapter (such as the racing beat one) to get this to work properly. (LINK)
Here's a posting by a forum member who setup the PLX gauge on his car. It looks to be a great setup and very "customizable". I just travel too much for work to have the time to mess with it. https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-interior-audio-electronics-24/vent-pod-gauge-installed-163434/

NOTES:
  1. I travel for work quite a bit. I am home this week, so if you buy something before Saturday, I can ship it out. If not, you will have to wait until I get back home on the weekend before I can ship anything to you.
  2. If you're local (DFW), I'll meet you somewhere. If not, I will only accept paypal. I'll send you my paypal address once you tell me on here what you want.
  3. Please don't PM me that you have "dibs" or anything like that. I don't check the forum every hour, so I want to make sure those who are the first to post in here get first chance at items.

Yeah...since I've been home, I'm in a "selling" mood trying to clear stuff out. Got 1 car sold...now I just need to get some random parts out of the way.

I've been wanting to monitor my Oil temps lately, but I don't have the cash to throw around on it... :/ Jew gave me an oil temp gauge that's in Celsius, but i don't have the sandwich plate or the sensor....or a gauge pod. So a lot of good the gauge does me!

Bump for a great seller.

Nav Hood came very shortly after the transaction took place. Been on travel for 3 weeks so didnt get to look at it till yesterday, but its in perfect condition (at least as far as looks go, though I'm sure the motor and screen work).

Thank you KWarner04
