OEM and JIC FLT-A2s
Category: Steering & Suspension
Price: $600
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): Series I, Series II
Location (US State/Canada/Int): VA
Item Condition: Used
Asking $100 obo plus shipping.
I'm also selling a set of JIC FLT-A2s. These were one of the best coilovers available for the RX8. I used these sets on two different cars and am moving on now to a setup that will allow me more spring rate choices.
This set has about 75-100K miles on them. They are not damaged, but the front should be rebuilt (service offered through JIC in CA) prior to using them again, but that's up to the buyer. They are equipped with 9kg/5kg springs right now and that's what will ship with them. This set was almost $2k new, but I'm offering them for $850 obo.
Rebuild costs will depend on what you want done to them, and that is something you would need to sort out with JIC. If you're looking for a cheap set of coilovers to setup for your new track 8, these are a good starting point.
I will include the rear adjusters for the right price as well.
I am going to be at DGRR this week and can answer any questions for people currently attending. I can ship the coilovers after the 21st.
I'll get some pics up shortly, but wanted to get this out there prior to my traveling. Thanks guys!

Just as an FYI to potential buyers, JIC customer service is really good. I just had a set of FLT-A2's rebuilt and they were done in a day and shipped back immediately. This suspension is also really good. I've been very impressed with the quality and performance of these coilovers. I haven't had them on the track yet but i can't wait to push them to see how they really perform.
Good luck with the sale.

Thanks - you won't be upset on the track. I've run them for years on different cars on and off the track... just trying to get more consistency between my RX8 and FC so I can easily swap springs around, etc as needed...
Glad to hear the rebuild service has a fast turnaround now.. it used to be about two weeks from the east coast...

Just pulled everything out to take some pics which I'll put up shortly. Looks like its just the front dampers that need a rebuild, rear seem to have life left in them. Passenger side damper had obvious failure and the driver's side feels very soft, even on the most stiff setting.
It would be under $1300 for a full JIC FLTA2 system (I'm including the rear adjusters as well now)... this system was nearly $2,000 new...
Feel free to make offers, as for now, it's just sitting on the shelf...

Bump with pics. $600 shipped to 48 states. International, PM me.
Here are some shots of the system just after hosing them down.
They are boxed up now ready to ship to a new buyer. I'm negotiable on price, but $600 is already pretty low. If they don't sell, they'll get rebuilt and shelved. I've already swapped suspension to a different setup now so I don't really need these but not pressed to get rid of them either... Thanks guys!

PM Responded to.
I've had a few really low offers (sub $500) and I'm just putting this out there that I'm not selling for that low so don't bother...
If you are serious about a good suspension setup that you can have built to suit your needs but don't want to spend the $3k+ it costs for similar setups, than this is the way to go.
