The short answer is an unlicensed, uninsured teenager with no skills so i need both.
Figured that while I'm getting replacements, might as well go MS. I'm finding the MS bumper new for 1200 online, but no luck yet on a painted hood.

Hmm, weird. I emailed them to see if they had one in velocity red in stock and got a reply saying they don't have any available and that they don't make them anymore.

This is the email I got from them:
OP, let me know if you actually get a Mazdaspeed front bumper from them because I will be buying one too if they actually have them (although I'm not sure why I would be told they don't if they did?)

Well Kahl, this afternoon I got a voice mail from Mazda telling the same. This is certainly disappointing as their site clearly shows the parts and allowed me to place my order, input my info, CC number, and shipping address. That's not what i expect from Mazda.
Is there ANYONE who has these painted certified Mazda parts for sale? I can't seem to find anyone who will sell these to me. Are there ANY aftermarket parts available that don't require a trip to the body man???

Ah, damn. I was hoping they were available still.
Also, before you go trash talking Mazda, I don't think www.mazda-parts.com is run by Mazda. So they're still great in my book ..That website on the other hand, not so much!
I'm on the search for a bumper too so I'll let you know if I find anything.

One more try - Park Mazda of Akron. It shows a bit more costly, but it looks like there are no shipping charges. (crossing fingers, holding a rabbit's foot, doing the happy dance!)
