I purchased a new Cobb AP for a local member that wanted to catch a good price during the transition prior to MM becoming the exclusive agent for them.

I am offering this NEW unit (unused in the box) for $500.00 and it includes the Custom Calibration Service from MM. If you want to check with Jeff, remember to tell him that it is the one that Phil's 8 is offering for sale. Currently a new unit with CCS is selling for $595.00 plus freight.

An added bonus will be that I will not charge for freight to the lower 48 states (Canada and others will have to pay the freight mainly due to the customs charges). If you paypal the charges are on you also. Please PM me if interested.

Hey, can you pm me with some details on this I may be interested.
Mainly looking to know:
-to what extent can you modify its settings (*turn off CELs, fuel map, timing*)
-can you modify the tunes it comes with
-anything else that may be usefull as I know very little about this product

I was told to use this to get around my ecu changing my fuel maps as I hollowed out my catalytic convertor.. If it has the features I'm looking for then I would be more then happy to take this off your hands

 

it has the features you are looking for plus it comes with an awesome tune from MM.
you can turn off CELs change fuel map and you can create custom tunes and modify the ones it comes with.
if your car is A/T you can move the redline up and many other things...the cobb AP is awesum

There are two huge threads in the ECU tuning section of this forum that explain every detail of this device. The AP allows the tuning of nearly every electronic aspect that Mazda had control of themselves. There are a few exceptions. It comes with a COBB stage 1 tune that can be edited but there might be an issue getting the software due to COBB no longer supporting the device. MazdaManiac tunes are not editable.

The only other thing to know is this device is as powerful as many stand alone systems which cost thousands more and do not include tuning support. This is a hell of a deal right here.

 

Thx for the info, so I guess my only challange now is to find a base map that I can edit, getting the software is easy apparently, you just need the serial number off the back of the AP and your personal info. If anyone knows where I could acquire the base files for the rx-8 tune that can be edited by the owner please let me know!

The stock tune does come with the accessPORT which can be edited.
