k guys, I broke my air control **** for A/C. I need to get an replacement con someone help me out with a good price for one. I live in Tx let me know what you guys got TY...

 

Im looking for the same exact thing. The dang plastic inside cracked in half. Let me know as well if you have extras.

 

My fan control **** split, like many others' have. I tried plastic cement and it didn't last. So I went to an electronics store and bought the smallest zip ties I could find. Wrapped one of those around the shaft and clipped it as short as possible. It's a bit tricky to get back on but once it's there, it's a permanent fix.

I can't believe they want $35usd per ****! Both my temp and fan **** broke at the shaft. I think rigging it is a better bet. A threaded aluminum post with the correct inner diameter will do it. All that is needed is a drill, a tap and two screws. I'll save $65 bucks for an hours worth of work.

 

good luck man..my friend had been looking for one for like 6 months..lol..ended up going to the junk yard and found a rx8..lol..5 bucks! :D lol..go that route aswell?
