Why?
I'll go out on a limb and ask the obvious.

Does your current engine have over 100k miles?
Is it a salvage title?

Or is this one of those cases where I can't see the entire post and that data is there?

bought it few months ago from a guy in craigslist, the car has around 92k. I was driving it when a hose of the radiator got broke and started leaking water but I didn't notice that untill the engine got heat and stop running in the middle of the road… After that I took my car to the dealer and it was diagnosed as complete engine failure etc. etc... Now I need a new engine but the problem is that the car still under warranty but they won't coverage because I don't have the records of maintenance.
The previous owner did oil change and everything else by itself so there is no record so I can prove it tha's why I'm looking for another engine

You know wat?

You're looking for another engine because everything going wrong on cars is not under warranty!

Don't worry about the maintenance records.

Any engine, even if driven for a few days and the water hose breaks, is under your control to mitigate damage from leaking coolant by watching temp gauge.

Mazda wasn't in control while you drove so you were in command to watch gauge.

At 92k you got your engines worth, even if bought used.

Chill out, Captain Hindsight. He's here to buy an engine, not bitch about Mazda.

Do you have asperger syndrome, red? Y'know if you lecture people like that after they already acknowledged making a mistake, you'll probably make people dislike you IRL. Just FYI.

Wondering if you have called Mazda North America and had any discussion with them. It might be worth a call before just throwing your hands in the air. Be nice, explain mileage it had when you bought the car and that you had a major hose leak, it locked up the engine, and dealer says you need a new engine........nothing else and don't elaborate. Then, see what happens. It's only a phone call.

You're not too far away from Mazmart, why don't you pm them?
You'll get a greatly remanufactured engine for a good price. Better than taking the risk of buying any used engine.

Not trying to be an *** here, but he was wondering out loud about not having records to get new one when he actually ruined it on his dime.

A lot of young people (yeah, I'm old-59 with too much time on my hands) miss the point worse than me, and forget that everything is not insured or protected or owed by someone else (the Man).

I grew up in a time when a man's word could accomplish a lot, but I see lots of slippery slope loss of ethics these days.

I've been thinking asperger syndrome myself; Thanks for the confirmation!

How much did you purchase it for? And where did you find the engine?

I didnt think you were responsible for the matience prior to your ownership date. That is what my dealer has told me.

Yeah, that's right. Who cares if the previous owner ran it dry of oil and spun every bearing in the block. As long as you've done your scheduled oil change since purchase, the engine should be fine and under warranty still.
