SOLD-NAVTEQ DVD update for 2004/2005 Mazda cars

According to NAVTEQs website this DVD will work in 2004/2005 Mazdas including RX8, Mazda 6 and Mazda 3. If you are using Mazda's Navigation system in your 2004/2005 car then this DVD will give you the most recent USA and Canada Maps. The DVD revision is 2005-1.

Just purchased a Mazdaspeed 3 with the newer Nav system so I don't need this anymore.

Cost from NAVTEQ $199 plus shipping.

My cost to you $100 plus shipping. No Lowballers please.

I'm located in Hudson, MA 01749

I PM'd the seller one hour after he posted the nav disc for sale, no reply yet.

The first thing I planned on doing was to make a "backup copy" to protect the original and use the backup in my RX8 keeping the original safe from heat and scratches.

2004-2005 Navigation

Attention: Everyone with a 2004 – 2005 RX8.

I had lengthy conversation with my Local Dealership week of January 21, 2008, and they shared information provided by Mazda USA. Mazda is aware no NAVTEQ DVD Disk has been released for resale since version 2005.1. Mazda cannot provide any useful information until a new Service Agreement is signed with NipponDenso. NipponDenso appears to be the only company with the resources to support the Navigation Equipment installed in 2004-2005 Mazda vehicles. 2006-2008 Mazda vehicles are unaffected, because the Navigation Equipment installed in these vehicles is of a different brand.

The NipponDenso – Mazda Service Agreement seems to have stalled. It’s been approximately two-years and counting. Is there anyone with experience to organize a mass mailing? I figure if enough people complain about it; it might escalate the issue with Mazda USA. As far as I’m concerned, the Mazda USA is not doing enough to support the expensive accessory we each choose to include in our vehicle.

I just posted one of these on ebay. It is 2008 data for an 04 RX8, which looks to still be the latest data Navteq sells for this model. ebay search for "SDAL vl.7.43.2" should pull up the listing. Starting bid is just $25.
