Looking for a navigation hood for a series I. I don't need the screen or the navigation parts, just the plastic bits - planning a tablet install. If anyone has one in the $50 range please let me know and send me some pics in a PM.

I've done this mod recently and wanted to say that you're probably gonna end up spending around a 100 for what you're looking for. Most people will not want part out the navi housing from the navi screen. Your best bet would be local junkyards for the price that you listed and even then most junkyards wont sell it for 50.

On another note, having the tablet put into the 8 was a pretty cool mod. Its functional especially with an OBD2 adapter.

I'm not in any way shape or form bashing your thread. I'm just sharing my experience and 2 cents. Good luck with finding the parts that you need!

I have a screen housing, but not the plastic dash trim for it if that would help. I found it much harder to find the trim though. Ended up buying a second unit.
