Man people are so cheap these days , sure why dont you buy that kit? Is there anything wrong with it? Esmeril kit is alot different then a greddy kit so prices are different. Also if you are not very mechanically inclined and something happens what are you gonna do? You said u have back up money but is it enough? Can you atleast inspect and see if everything is in the right spots...no slippage or anything? I dont mean to insult your intelligence but im just letting you know that its not just a "put it on and forget it" type of deal. And maybe you should look at superchargers? I think they are cheaper , and install is easy as hell.

Does no one get what this guy wants? He simply wants a Turbo kit within that budget range. Period.
He doesn't want that Esmeril kit and doesn't need to "save up" to buy it. Very simple guys, either you know where can get a kit within his budget or not. At the end of the day I rather build my own from scratch but thats just coming from me who solely works on AWD huge turbo cars.

which means there is a kinda that you do!
Even if he doesnt know what he wants... as long as he does everything right (aka avoid blowing the engine) then it should be fine. If he accounts for proper fixes, tunes etc then what's the problem? Another thing he can do with the greddy is save up and get the MM upgrade.

I think this better relates to the difference between the Armani suit and one you might buy at Big Lots, or whatever super discount/junk/dollar store you have in your area. I mean...really...who would want to risk paying half price for a part that can be sooooo damaging to your car.

They have armani at big lots? sweet! Anyways its not damaging as long as you know what your doing. yeah a little wear and tear there but aye live life to the fullest
