ok, that's what i figured, but the clarification helps considering in all pictures your cars looks brilliant black.

 

Yeah its a plain old ppg black, So the fenders/hood/bumper would need to be painted.

the hood is painted black? can that be returned to original carbon fiber appearance?

Actually yes..but sometimes no.. lol.
You can wet sand the paint/primer back off then re-clear to have the carbon fiber show but if there isn't enough clear coat left under the paint then you could burn through to the weave..

I honestly have noo idea. I drove it down the street before i pulled the motor to make sure it ran and drove. Shifted through all the gears and didnt grind for me but i never went above 6k rpms.

 

I want that hood but you live so far...
