This will work with a bose system with a 6 disc changer. That is what i had and it is just plug and play. There is an empty jack in the car which is used for either the ipod adapter or the satellite radio. You can either have the ipod adapter or satellite radio, but not both.

Note that you can have as many play lists as you like, but it works best with limited playlists. One user indicated he had one play list with all his music and turned shuffle on.

does this work on a 04 with single disc cd changer?

 

I added additional info in the original post. I believe that the main requirement is a satellite connection. However, not sure if the single CD plays a role or not.

Don't know about the iphone. This works by the Mazda's system controlling the iPod....so the iphone would need the same connector and also software to receive commands from the radio I would think.

 

if someone can tell me if this will work on my 04 with single disc cd player i will buy right away.
