I have an injen intake for sale. I bought this used from another forum member so I don't really know how many miles are on it. I believe that stuff on the screen is rust. I had a problem with water getting on it from my vented hood. It might cone off if you scrub It I don't know. The only part I can't find Is the little cap to cap off where you remove a hose. I'm sure you can buy it from am auto parts store for a couple cents. Asking 150 shipped.

 

i own this intake myself....no problems at all....are you sure your installing it correctly?

 

Yes it was. It did fine with the stock hood but when I got the vented hood everytime it rained or I washed my car it would suck a little water in the intake, bog down, and throw a code for the maf. I figure it did it because of the vent in the hood being directly above it

 

Does your vented hood not have the water channeling plates to vent the water off to the side of the engine bay?

 

Nope. I prefer the stock intake anyways

 

I love the sound of this intake comparied to the others
