Fuel pump upgrade for S1
 

Hello club,

So after 17 years, my fuel pump is starting to go and I'm looking for a plug-and-play upgrade. Either an S2 pump retrofit with appropriate connectors or an aftermarket pump adapted to the S1 housing. Open to ideas.

I'm not super set up to play around with fuel myself right now and would like as close to a plug-and-play solution for a shop to install.

it be pretty easy to buy an S2 pump and just do it yourself

if I had to do it over again, rather than going through the hassle of installing a Nylon hose connector I’d just cut the S1 siphon hose connector off, put a piece of 5/16” submersible fuel line on it with a SS hose clamp and then clamp the other end onto siphon inlet of the pump module. It’s only going to see a light vacuum pressure when siphoning fuel from the other saddle. I could piece it together for you if you want though. Just pm me.

Noted, thanks Team. I'd love to DIY but at the moment I don't have a good place to work on the car. I suppose I could piece the kit together without actually opening the fuel tank (thanks for the link), but wanted to see if anyone here had something ready to go.
