I own the cheap universal two pronged tool which i picked up from napa but it does not work well at all.
I have searched online and have not been able to find a socket or tool that fits the rx8.
Let me know what you have! Thanks.

Well that will work, it is adjustable. The BHR one is RX-8 specific and sturdy as hell. For me, I will use it many times so the flimsy ones I have used before won't cut it long term.
I also have this one on the right made by parts group that works okay. But it is too damn big.

Let us know how it works for you.
I recently used the universal rental tool from AutoZone and chewed the ring up.
I didn't get it as tight as it originally was because of it.

I've used Charles tool a few times in the past as well......
It works very well and with every transaction I've had with Charles the guy is a straight up pleasure to deal with. Even though I see your mind is made up to get it, I recommend going that route!
