FS - SR motorsports short ram intake
well as it says. i have a SR motorsports short ram intake for sale. it was polished and i didn't feel like polishing it back up because it had some minor scratches on it and i was painting a bunch of stuff piano black anyway so it's been painted and looks good. the paint can be sanded off and it can be polished back to what it was before for about $2 worth of scuff pads or a green scrubby sided sponge and some metal polish i just didn't feel like it before.
it is engine paint so it will resist the heat and not discolor but there is no primer so it can be scuffed right off. does come with the filter and should be cleaned but it is in great shape or i would have replaced it, just needs a cleaning which is easy and i might just do that for the buyer.
asking $75 price includes shipping
goes for $289 from SR motorsports
http://www.srmotorsports.com/RX8_Per...ake_Parts.html
can be used for custom intakes as this has the exact inside diameter that the MAF requires.
there is NO HOUSING that goes over the filter. this was installed when i bought the car and is as is. the only reason i knew it was from SR motorsports was because it still had a sticker on the bottom of it. I washed the sticker off.
pics.
I'll take better pics later today if anyone wants them this was from my phone and the lens is F'ing filthy with dust behind the glass.

Am tempted, been looking for one but somehow it does not look like the one in your link
Want the polished one with the SR logo.
Seems there is a difference between the one for auto and the one for stick
Do not want to do any honeyDos , ie polish it, too much work for me, hey I am a LMF

Click on link. Scroll down. They have 2 intake options. This is a short ram intake without the shroud. The shroud is a new thing they are selling.
I guess they use to sell one model, the little picture from their website I posted is the one I have. If a buyer wants this I will polish it back up and clean the filter too. The paint will come right off, I painted it without primer just so I could remove it if I wanted to. And I didn't scuff the surface incase I wanted to polish it back up.
The polished surface just needed some refreshing really, it was dull and I didn't have and metal polish at the house so I just painted it.
