you prolly wont get a grand for OEM wheels. sure they are shinka rims, but i've had mine sitting next to other stockers... you cant tell the difference. just looks like one of the wheels has a slightly diffferent angle to the light

 

Good luck with the sale man. But as paulmasoner stated they look to similar to regular stock 8 rims to pay that much for them. You can get a real nice set of aftermarkets for that price. Thats just my opinion. Good luck!

I believe people sold OEM rims(set of 4) for 300-350 couple of months back. You can't expect to get what you pay for after using them especially for two years... thats 24months, 730-731days... < you really think bank will loan you 11k to buy a car and two years later you sell it back for 10k stock? They are not thread pooing... they just trying to help/give you their .02c so you won't have to deal with the real thread crap raining down on you.

yeah, sorry man, echoing the "over priced" sentiment. blame mazda for making the shinka rims look too much like the standard oem rims...

those are in good shape, but i don't think you'll get that much for them. go to mazda 3 and 6 forums, you'll have better luck there.

 

these are good rims...but 1000 is an overkill....

Listen. All responses have been negative regarding the price. Yet not one of you PMed privately to tell me.

I bought them for $1100 and if someone was to make me a serious offer around $900 I would sell them. But offering $400 and saying that they are just like standard RX8 rims? Come on...I'd rather keep them for $400 and have them look pretty in my basement.

I don't need the cash so if the right offer comes along, I'll sell them. I don't like aftermarket rims so please don't compare OEM rims to them. As you can see, I am trying to get R3 OEM rims so I'm not a 16 year kid that needs the cash to buy new rims to impress his friends.

Having said that, haters are everywhere so hate on!

If you're interested, make a serious offer. If not, flame all you want.

if i were the OP i'd PM a mod to see if this thread could get cleaned up. yes, the price is higher than regular OEMs but there are often times people pay some pretty good money for shinka wheels. more than i'd be willing to pay but i'm cheap and would either PM the OP to let him know it was high or just move along.

seriously, like i said, try 3 and 6 forums, they are more apt to be all over a set of oem rims, they covet our rims b/c they look so good on their cars.

 

to the OP. you don't need a mod to clean up the thread. Just delete you first post (this will delete entire thread) and make a new thread.

Not at all. They have the same specifications as the stock rims except they have the Shinka Edition finish (Hyper Silver). You cannot get this exact finish at any aftermarket powdercoater. Believe me, I explored every avenue before putting money down for these.

Haters will tell you that its just "gun metal".

 

its not gunmetal, or any other paint color/code that mazda has used on any RX-8, wheel, aftermarket piece
