Arrow FS: Replacement ECU + Racing Beat Flash!

This is for a NA 2004 MT US & Canada spec car, without a catalytic convertor.

It is a 2004 ECU that has visited Racing Beat for their 'Race' flash.

http://www.racingbeat.com/PCM.htm

If you have wanted to try your car with a really good flash, this will do it - this is as good a tune as you will find for NA 2004 MT RX-8. A nice powerful tune with the rev cuttoff raised to 9300 and the cooling fans adjusted to come on at lower temperatures. Recommended for use with a cat delete pipe. (the high EGTs would fry your factory cat in a matter of hours)

This flash has the outstanding advantage of having the IMMOBILIZER recognition program disabled, so it doesn't need YOUR key chip to work -
- if your ECU is damaged, this is a plug'n'play replacement.
- you can transfer it to any other (2004) car in seconds.
- your own (factory warranteed) ECU remains absolutely untouched, ready to plug back in, no risk of damage by aftermarket reflash tools!

If you want to return to stock, just reinstall your factory ECU and cat and you are back to stock.

I am asking $700 plus $25 shipping, (Paypal prefered) I think my price is fair, based on the cost for the flash plus Customs, Fedex (and their thieving fees!) and the virgin ECU. If you don't find it fair, just read another post, but you won't find this on offer anywhere else.

To avoid the obvious possibility of buying something electronic, used - I offer a thirty day return/refund of your $700 - no reasons required - you would just be out the shipping costs each way.

read the first post again.

...ah..as someone just said ...

read the 1st post..RB only sells the flash ...you must supply *YOUR* ECU... this is for the FLASH on *ANOTHER* ECU that works in any RX-8 as specified. Go ask your dealer what just a new ECU alone will cost you....

Yes, but this includes the ECU as well while RB flashes your own ECU, so you don't end up with a spare.
Makes sense if you are worried about your warranty when bringing in the car for service. By plugging back in your original ECU, they can not figure out that you were running the RB flash.

yes but for $650 cant you just get the cobb and re flash whenever you want to?

I'm not trying to ruin this guys sale I'm just trying to help him see his asking price is a bit high. He might want to lower it to sell this??

So is it safe to assume this ECU will only work with a 2004?
