FS: Pettit Racing 8.5lb aluminum flywheel

As the title say's I have an 8.5lb aluminum flywheel that was purchased from Pettit Racing. I decided to take the flywheel out when I got my motor replaced last week. This flywheel is awesome, It made the biggest difference on my car out of anything I ever did. Really helped out in the top end of the rev range. I've been thinking of selling my car so I figured I would go ahead and take it out.

As you know aluminum flywheels use a steel friction disk. I ordered a new friction disk from Pettit and had it installed by Mazda. The flywheel comes with the counterweight installed and a brand new friction disk. This flywheel is essentially brand new and absolutely no different from a brand new one.

I am asking 550 shipped. The new friction disk alone was 85 dollars. I will even be including a full set of hardware to fix the pressure plate to the flywheel which is different than what is used for for stock one.

I don't have pictures at the moment but I can take some and post them in the next few day's.

Lightweight flywheels are awesome and you can actually feel an increase in acceleration.

Most lightweight flywheels are around 9.5 lbs...This one is 8.5 lbs, that means it will free up more hp, rev up faster, and make your smile alot bigger. Also if you track your car it will give you a good advantage rev matching and getting around the track in general. Bump for a good guy and an execellent product.

yes the flywheel by its self is 500........ the counterweight which I am including cost an additional 125 bucks..........plus shipping for everything. I should have clarified that in more detail in my original post. I would like to also point out again that I just paid 85 bucks for a brand new friction disk that was just installed and never ran. This flywheel is essentially brand new. I will try and post pictures tomorrow or wed.

why do you say that???....... guy's if your not interested please don't post in my thread........ I'm asking a fair price, if anyone would like to make an offer please do so, I know the economy is bad and that money is tight, I'm not dying to sell this and I would love to keep it, but I could really use some money and if someone has some extra cash and is looking for an awesome flywheel I have it.

no doubt you have an awesome product, an 8.5lb flywheel sounds really good. and flywheels arent really wear items, so if you take it out it'll be new-ish.

i'd buy it if i had the money. and if you manage to sell it for $500 shipped, thats a great price and more power to you.
