FS: Passenger side tail light (smoked) price lowered to $45



Driver's side (clear) has already been sold. Passenger side tail light; matte smoked: $45

I will smoke the driver's side for free to match the passenger side for free if anyone sends it to me btw, so they match, for those who don't have a matte smoked driver's side already.

btw.. If someone really needs a passenger side tail light and they don't want it smoked, I can remove the smoke coating, and return the tail light to it's original appearance.

I understand that it's gonna be harder to sell just one smoked tail light without the other matching tail light, so I'll throw in free shipping to any of the lower 48 states as added incentive. Again, if anyone wants the smoke coating removed, I'll remove it if requested. I've only got a few RX-8 pieces left to sell, so I'm giving extra incentive on any remaining items I don't need.

Your kidding me right? This taillight is BROKEN!!!! Please refund me the money right now!! Once I see the refund ill ship it back to you. I was trying to do this via PM but its full.

Once Again..

1. I haven't had your money for the past 2 days, so please STOP asking me to refund you. You rescinded your payment.. remember?

2. I've already contacted Paypal on the matter, and have given you the phone # to paypal's resolution department, as well as the person's name who is handling this transaction.

3. I've already posted that I would contact Paypal to have them redeposit the funds to your Paypal account before you send the taillights back, however, Paypal and myself expect the item to be shipped back to me in the same condition as it was sent to you, or they will deduct the amount from your Paypal account and hold those funds in limbo until you and I come to an agreement.

I DO NOT HAVE YOUR MONEY, NOR CAN I RELEASE IT TO YOUR ACCOUNT AS I AM NOT PAYPAL.

I have done just about everything I can as a seller is expected to do from beginning to end, and still you are ranting on and on. If you do not follow the explicit instructions that Paypal's resolution representatives has given, how on earth do you expect to get this resolved? By ranting some more? Give it a rest and do something besides playing the victim throughout this entire event. By my own pictures, it is shown that the tail lights are missing the tabs. I've already apologized that I didn't notice that they were missing. I've already stated that I would contact Paypal to release the funds to your Paypal account before you ship the taillight back.

All I am asking is that the tail light be sent back to me in the same condition as it was sent to you, as I can reuse it with LED bulb housings, which are larger than the OEM bulbs and hot glue them into place, so the tabs are of no consequence to me. If you are going to continue to rant and rant and not contact me or Paypal then that's your loss. I cannot force your hand into taking the necessary action to resolve this, nor will I allow you to make me out to be the bad guy when the next actions are up to you since I a) don't have your money and b) don't have the product.

Again, you have the ball. Step away from the keyboard, pick up the phone, and call Paypal or call me. .. or you can keep ranting, and you and I are still at square one. I've done all I can from my end to ensure that you have the funds redeposited into your Paypal account in lieu of the return of said item. Riken, please take the necessary steps to resolve this simple matter of 59.00 and a driver's side tail lamp.


It's been 2 days since you've rescinded payment, going on 3, and still you have not contacted me via PM, email, or by calling.
I have had just about enough of your ranting and doing absolutely nothing to resolve this matter. I just got off the phone with Paypal again, and since I have proof that I have made more than adequate effort to resolve this and you have made as of this posting, zero effort to resolve this, Paypal's resolution's department is now instructing me to wait for you to send the item back to me first before any refund can be given. You have shown yourself to be unwilling to resolve this matter by:

1. Not contacting me before rescinding payment.

2. Not contacting me during the resolution process.

3. Not contacting Paypal's resolution department to resolve the matter.


You have been given more than enough time to take the necessary steps to resolve the matter. For the last time, I expect you to send the item back to me in the same condition it was sent to you according to the recommendations given by first Joshua and now Derek at Paypal's resolution's department. I have made all attempts to resolve this with you. I have had no intentions of keeping any payment for an item that you say is not as described, but the longer you keep the item, the more it seems that you either:

1. cause the item to be in a condition other than how it was sent to you

2. wish to keep the item and not pay for it

3. don't care enough to take the time to resolve the issue

You've already stated in another thread that you don't have time to make any phone calls to resolve the matter.

Okay then, fine, so why haven't you emailed me or PM'd me yet either. I hope that this will be the last response I have to make in these threads and we can resolve this quickly, and that you are going to return the taillight to me as specified by Paypal.

You've had more than enough ways to contact me if you really want to resolve this, and yet you still have yet to take the necessary steps on your end. It's up to you how quickly you want to get this matter resolved. Since I'd like to either have my taillight back or at least get paid for it since you still have it, clearly, it's in my interest to have this resolved as soon as possible.

You know what happened. The driver's side taillight was returned to me with scratches and scuffs that clearly were not on the outer lens as shown from your photos and my photos.

Matter has been escalated to the mods/admins of RX8club as well as paypal's resolution department.

As of this posting, Riken has STILL not contacted me to resolve this matter.

It is my belief that he has not and continues to not contact me due to the damage he added to the taillight.

His post demanding a refund BEFORE returning the taillight seems to be based on not coming forth from the outer lens damage.

I am sorry to say that despite multiple attempts to resolve this with Riken, the matter will now be taken to my local police department along with sworn affidavits, photos, correspondence, call records to paypal, original taillight packaging, and witness accounts from when the taillight arrived back from Riken's possession.


The following is my review of Riken, whether you wish it to be posted or not: Never the less, it's the truth, and nothing changes that.

Riken: Dishonest.

Riken has been given many opportunities to contact me or Paypal regarding a taillight he inaccurately described as broken. Rather than contact me for resolution, he proceeded to mislead and misinform those here at RX8club and AZMC.

He has told lie after lie about contacting me and paypal. After the 5th phone call to Paypal, Paypal decided that since Riken did absolutely nothing to resolve the matter, the funds he originally paid were returned to my wife's account, for me to decide on how much I deemed was fair to refund him since the item (a driver's side taillight) was returned with more damage than it had when sent out.

The tabs as Riken had been claiming were broken for weeks while waiting for him to contact me were not broken at all, but perfectly intact. It is my belief that rather than own up to a mistake in either judgment or wording, he'd rather continue to post multiple lies about contacting me or paypal as well as the taillight itself.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE PURCHASE OR SELL ANYTHING TO RIKEN.
