Wow, aren't we are a bunch of impatient members here! Don't know about some of you, but some of us have to work on Monday. It may not matter much though, since there are already way more PM responses on these wheels than my inbox can hold, so I predict that they may already be sold to one of the first 15+ responses I got in my inbox before it maxed out. My email inbox is littered with "so and so tried to PM you, but your inbox is full. Please click here to delete messages.. etc."
For those who already sent PM's, I'll PM pics of wheels & tires along with more info. Those who didn't bother to PM me, but resorted to screaming for information on these wheels, it's surprising that RX8 members don't know about these by now. Especially ones with hundreds of posts under their belt.. people like Jedi54 whom I believe I've already met in person. (I find it interesting is that he's not rude in person, but some people become rude once their back on the forum and think that people don't know or remember who they are. And is there something wrong with your caps lock rotary resurection? I mean, damn.. I posted that I was going to buy one of your powder coated housings, but you feel the need to be the forum police all of a sudden in my FS thread?) anyways!
Anyone's who's ever walked up to their local Mazda dealership's parts counter, or looked at mazdaspeed parts either online or in their catalog should know about these wheels, however, it's apparent that there are some who don't, so I'll post up some info.. some of which found from this very site. Search functions work great btw.
previous thread discussion: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-wheels-tires-brakes-suspension-55/mazdaspeed-ms-01s-wheels-110904/
They're 18x7.5 +38 offset, and look exactly like these, pics from the thread above:
I'll PM pics of the tires to those who PM'd me and the wheels like I said I would in the OP (some people apparently didn't read the OP, while others did) tomorrow, as it's late. So to those of you who are typing in caps and trying their best at flame baiting, go ahead. I don't care. The wheels aren't going to you anyways, so no big, right?

I dont get it. Some joker can post a thread with almost no relevant information about themselves, their items, prices, pictures, nothing. And yet about 4200 people on this forum will be chomping at the bit to buy, all up in their thread posting and calling dibs on something they havent even seen.
And when I come correct and post a thread with prices, pictures, detailed description and so forth, nobody has anything to say. It's like the friggen twilight zone or something. Go look at my transmission thread for instance...you can't make a thread any better than that. People are always wanting good transmissions. My price is lower than (untested) junkyard prices but higher than (untested) random ebay sellers, but no one is interested? They'd rather be trying to buy parts from a dude that doesnt want to sell his parts or ship them, or from some dude who can't take pictures or post specs on rims.

It's gonna take me a while to clear up my inbox, so please be patient with me if you're trying to PM me for anything NOT regarding these wheels, as I'm sure that I can't sell them to everyone who responds, but thank you for the interest. Something tells me that I should start jacking prices up for A holes that want to be the world's thread ****'s the next time they want something from me.
Some here need to get a grip and chill out - it's the internet for pete's sake. If you're this stressed out on the web, I can't imagine how some of you are in real life. Relax!

first 2 PM's responded to - if I don't get your PM tonight, I'll get to them tomorrow.
Here's the mazdaspeed catalog in pdf form that has some details on the wheels (scroll to the middle):

I could be wrong about the offset....I've never looked at the wheel to confirm. It's just not usual for mfg's to monkey with the stock offset, unless the width has been changed.
If you have one off it should be on the backside some where.
The 'j' refers to the width....j is full inch and jj is 1/2 inch...in this case 8 inch verus 8.5 inch.

You then go out and find pictures of someone elses's wheels that are not even the same COLOR as yours and you think that's an acceptable way to post a F/S thread.
I come along and point out the obvious to you and you try and call me out? I've been around these parts much longer then you buddy and when I see a thread SO full of misinformation, then yes...I will point out the obvious to other members.
Have we met in person? Not sure, I've met hundreds of members over the years and if I don't remember you. Well then...maybe that means something?
Congratulations RR. I'll send you a gold star for setting the example on how to sell something for the rest of us "jokers". All the while you're complaining, someone else is buying what I'm selling. *thumbs up*\

on a side note: why do people buy 'upgraded' wheels that are smaller then the OEM's?
On that note, glad to see you finally posted some pics of those wheels, even if they're STILL not your wheels.
Don't you guys want to see HIS wheels? I'd be curious about the actual condition of each wheel; scratches? curb rash? finish?
Anyways, I'm done wasting my time in here, good luck with this "sale"

you need to get out a bit more often and show a little more respect to those members who actually help make this a forum a better place. I'd encourage you to see some of the good that RR has done for the community and then maybe you'll think otherwise.

lol.. I didn't try to call you out. We did meet, and you were nicer in person than how you are now posting in my FS thread. Don't get so defensive. Just stating a fact.
The fact you don't remember me is of no consequence. I don't go to meets & drives, nor am I here in an attempt to be popular.
as far as the color is concerned, it was posted that they weren't gold, but gunmetal; it was posted that the picture was borrowed from the web; it was posted why I posted why a temp pic was shown in the mean time; and it was posted that I would be posting pics of the actual wheels.
For someone who just boasted about being such a contributing member to this online community, you seem to have a bit of trouble reading, since you didn't read my other post above, again explaining that the pic posted was not only not my wheels, but from another thread here at RX8.
You probably wouldn't be "wasting" your time posting here in my FS thread if you would just take a moment to read my posts a little better.
As far as showing you and RR respect, how about you and him show respect if you want respect. Just because you've been online at this particular forum and have numerous post counts certainly does not make it okay for you to belittle new members. If you really cared about the wellbeing and growth of this site, perhaps you and RR would be a little more welcoming to newer members rather than flame them and demand respect from them for not having made as many posts as you two have.
It's funny that you're trying to be the hero in my thread by telling me like how it should be, but you were never interested in buying the wheels in the first place, so all the while you're talking about contributing to RX8club, you're doing the opposite by posting in my thread. If you have absolutely no interest in buying these, why even bother interjecting? If a member doesn't want to buy what I have for sale based on lack of pictures or information, so be it. I'm sure that there are plenty of adults who don't need their hand held to make a purchasing decision.
When we meet again, which I'm sure we will, you will remember who I am, as there is no need to re-introduce myself. Why is it that you feel the need to continue to be rude to me and my community? Our mazda community has been nothing but respectful to you and yours. If anything, we have made efforts to bring the mazda community together. Selling nice RX8 parts at a fair price is also contributing to the mazda community, wouldn't you think? No one was trying to disrespect you, but when you butt into my FS thread and are clearly not interested in buying them, you are a distraction to the main purpose of this forum section, and the post within them.
As far as your recommendations on how to sell an item, they're not needed or asked for. I have sponsored more than a 30 cars and more than a dozen car clubs over the past 5 years. I've hosted an average of 3 car events in city every year for the past 6 years. Before you start trying to label me as a noob, be sure who it is you are talking to.
After signing up as a member here at RX8 club, I would get reminder notices in my email asking me to come back and participate, and so I do, but if you are going to be this unfriendly to members who don't "prove" themselves to you before you show them respect, then you are directly hindering the growth of this very site. You and RR may very well have contributed to this forum, however, it does not give either of you the excuse to be as rude as you have been. No harm/foul as far as I'm concerned. Wheels sale is pending, and you and I have said our peace. I'm not here to argue with you or anyone else. If you wish to continue this subject, feel free to PM me, email me, or call me on my cell.
Back on topic.. if the sale doesn't go through with the first person, I will contact the second person who was serious about purchasing the wheels. Thank you again to all those who responded.

Fact: this thread is worthless without picturs of YOUR wheels. When buying wheels, one of the most important things to a potential buyer is the exact condition of the wheels
Fact: you are the one being defensive, not I.
Fact: you need to learn how to properly post F/S threads
Fact: I never asked for your respect; don't need it, don't want it. I was speaking about RR
Fact: You are taking my comments WAY out of proportion. I recommend you be a little more 'thick skinned' if you are going to participate in forum discusisons. There is no need to be hurt and feel disrespected.

I will contribue a little advice. Here are some of the rules for the F/S subforum that could be of some use to you.
All FS/FT/WTB threads MUST list where you are located in the heading of the thread by either City/State or Zip code.
- This is not an auction site. DO NOT DIRECTLY LINK YOUR PRODUCT TO EBAY
- Try to make your buy/sell/trade post subject look something like this:
> state if it is FS/FT/WTB (ForSale/ForTrade/WantToBuy)
> describe the product - width and offset in the 1st post might be a good idea
> state the price (With currency) (if it's a FS ad)
> state the location - behind your steering wheel is a bit vague
> state iff you are willing to ship - where are you shipping from? That might make a big difference; even though you're paying half
> remember a picture is worth a thousand words - replace the pics of the gold wheels in your 1st post with pics in your later posts to give people a quick idea of what you're offering. Keep in mind, some people have the attention span of a lightning bolt and won't scroll all the way down.
here's the rest of them: https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-parts-sale-wanted-44/everyone-stop-read-rules-updated-june-2015-a-133551/
again, good luck with the sale.

I appreciate the comments.
I think you still misunderstand what I said to you earlier, and since you opted to not continue this conversation in the PM's or via email, I'll simply respond in my own thread.
I am quite aware of the buy sell rules; it had been stated that pics and info would be posted later from the beginning.
I've also stated earlier that it doesn't matter much now, since I have a purchase pending, and any further effort in "trying" to sell them is mute. I didn't need any "luck" from you in either of your two previous posts. Therefore, this thread is not worthless as you so boldly say otherwise. The only reason(s) you are continuing to respond long after you said you were done with this thread is:
A. Your testosterone level won't let you let it be
B. You still feel the need to be right.
C. You enjoy being righteous and try to make others bow to your presence.
D. You are jealous or upset that I am selling something so nice at such a low price
E. You like what I am selling, but you can't afford them, so you try to distract everyone from purchasing them by trying to discredit the way I have these listed for sale.
The original pics posted will remain, as it was adequately described as not being the color and not my picture, but yes.. people do have short attention spans and don't often read posts. If they did, however, I'm sure that it would clear up any confusion as to whose rims were pictured and what color they are.
I'm sure that none of this matters much, but your post prompted me to respond.
You don't need to suggest anything in regards to being defensive or thick skinned. Just you double posting in response says it all. Since it seems that we're going to be post volleying for a while, I guess I'll look forward to your next post.

Hey guys, since someone is apparently foolhardy enough to take a chance and buy these wheels sight unseen (truly), I would remind you that I still have that blue car for sale so maybe someone will come buy it too. 20 grand for a blue mazda...come and get it! Model, mileage, condition, pictures, they are all unimportant...someone BUY MY CAR NOW!

ah, what the hell. It's a slow day at the office so I'll play your silly little game.
I look forward to seeing pics of your actual wheels.
The only reason(s) you are continuing to respond long after you said you were done with this thread is:
A. Your testosterone level won't let you let it be: I didn't realize my testosterone levels were of such interest to other men
B. You still feel the need to be right. finally someone who can psycho analyze me SO Accurately! It's not about me being right, it's about YOU accepting a little criticism and realizing that there was a much better way to post these wheels for sale.
C. You enjoy being righteous and try to make others bow to your presence. this has nothing to do with my ego. You speak of reading comprehension yet it is painfully obvious you have not read many of MY posts. If you had, you'd know I'm not here to puff up my chest
D. You are jealous or upset that I am selling something so nice at such a low price Jealous of these wheels? Hardly. Sorry to burst your bubble but they're honestly not my cup of tea. I would not install these wheels on my car, not because they're not 'nice' but because I don' see the need to have narrower wheels. I will however post picturs of my new wheels when they arrive and you are free to criticize if you like.
E. You like what I am selling, but you can't afford them, so you try to distract everyone from purchasing them by trying to discredit the way I have these listed for sale. THIS one takes the cake! You have revealed to the forum who I truly am; a starving college kid living in his parent's basement. What would you have us do Big Boy? Whip 'em out and compare W2's? Believe me when I tell you this: lack of available finances has never been an issue for me. I don't need to boast of my belongings as those who know me are aware that I live a comfortable life and don't feel the need to brag about my "nice things" .

You aren't clairvoyant are you?
I don't mind either of you posting, but if Jedi thought it was a waste of time to do so, why is it that he decided to post some more? Unless you guys enjoy wasting time as he put it.
So you're trying to make a point that without pictures posted in the thread, no one is going to buy something? You're about to be proven wrong.
And why does it matter so much to you or him anyways? Neither of you are buying them.
