FS: Got rear ended in my rx8. Engine/Tranny/Seats/Wheels
Hello looking to sell the stuff i have, I have the following
2006 rx8 Engine has 22000 on the clock but am now selling it for 1,000 due to me needing it out of my garage. THERE IS NO TRANNY IT IS SOLD HENCE WHY IT IS NOT PICTURED. PLEASE READ ENTIRE THREAD BEFORE POSTING OR PM'ING ME.
front and rear cloth seats. 300 for the fronts -----200 for the backs. all in perfect shape
let me know your guys thoughts. I am 117 paypal verified so please buy with confidence.

well, as for the engine, you see engine/trans dropouts on ebay, for the same price you are asking for just your engine only, from reputable junkyards and they sit there for months unsold. So what does that tell you?
Not many people will pay top dollar for a used engine when mazda will put a reman in for them for free. The only people who will buy are those doing swaps into other cars (not popular due to the renesis PCM constraints) or turbo guys who are not warrantied.
And 22k miles is low for most "regular" engines, but as you might have noticed on this forum, the renesis don't seem to hold up too well and people are having them replaced at basically any mileage, even as low as yours.

Atkins is in puyallup washington...a lot closer to you for shipping purposes.
I would have NO use for an auto trans...in fact I have one I need rid of myself.
How much without the auto trans? really all I am after is the block itself.

i have no use for one either, 1350 shipped withought tranny. I really just wanted to leave it on there.

thanks for the offer. I don't really see how you came up with 1350 shipped for just the motor, when the motor and trans were 1000 together (shipping should not be over 300 for just a motor, and I am assuming some discount would be given on the engine price without the transmission). Not that it is at all an unfair price, I am just saying.
Regardless I can't take it due to your location and the high shipping cost (that is just money thrown away)...I can buy 2 cores for 1300 shipped sometimes when I find them closer. I just bought 2 cores for 710 shipped actually, and was looking at a third for about 750 shipped.

well damn i cant beat 710 shipped for 2 cores. yet again we are comparing core prices to a good engine price. as far as shipping goes, i have shipped plenty of engines, and it sucks cause price are rising and gas cost are climbing hence why the price is so high, not to mention your place is accros country. Make me on offer, i just need this gone. pm me for details.
