I believe he'll have to at least clear the VIN out from the previous owner's car

it locks itself into a VIN so a group doesn't buy one and then flash multiple cars for free ....

You need to 'uninstall' the Cobb unit, this returns the car to stock and the Cobb will then program another vehicle.

This has never ever been hooked up to the car it was bought for.Only loaded the disk on my laptop.
